![We believe in empowering the next generation with valuable free libraries, to create classrooms for all. Across two classrooms, we have a collection of over 1000 books, including a personal collection of over 300 National Geographics. We have a dream of expanding our libraries much bigger than this someday, so every child can go home at night having read a book that inspired them about the world.

![Every year, we host the largest Rath Yatra festival in the Dum Dum Durganagar area with one goal: for everyone to eat, have fun, meet new friends, and enjoy with their community. ![Basanta Utsab: not only a way to celebrate spring, but for everyone to come together to honor our poets, our songs, our music and our dance. We celebrated the festival with a parade and dance; over 70 students, teachers, volunteers, community leaders, and friends gathered to bring in the start of spring. We also held a ceremony to celebrate the winners of our creative essay writing and drawing completions. We are so proud of our students.

![One of the ways we are concluding the month of February is by hosting a drawing completion and a creative essay writing competition for the children. On February 21, 70 students came to the Kolkata classroom to participate in these competitions. We believe such events are essential for encouraging freethinking skills, developing confidence, and allowing students to practice writing and drawing for a chance to earn recognition for their efforts.

![February has been a month of action and growth for our students, from studying for their drawing theory examinations to their first unit drawing exams. Before the end of this month, students will be giving their computer drawing and English exams. As March arrives, we will kick the month off by hosting a massive creative writing competition for all children.
